As the name of the project suggests, "Postcards from Mallorca" shows a sequence of images that represente my experience and everyday life in Palma de Mallorca. "The Living", a poem written by Feng Sun Cheng, was used to narrate the visuals and conveys a set of emotions as the city of Palma de Mallorca represents a constant conflict between happiness and nostalgia. To create this feeling of nostalgia the "retro" editing was inspired by the Super 8 films.
